Prison Ministry

We started working at the Korydalos Prison in Athens 6 years ago. We have converted 39 prisoners. Those who have not been deported or gone out of Athens are attending our services, have found a decent job, and have started a new life; several have become church members. Our prison studies, conducted in the English language, continue once a week with an average of 15-20 students.

The prison work is spreading. Those of our students who have been transferred to other prisons are now putting together study groups teaching the gospel to other prisoners. We support their efforts with Bibles we receive from USA, teaching material and Bible correspondence courses. In almost every Greek prison there is now a Bible study group lead by those who have studied with us.
